Rachel has been designing couture wedding cakes for twenty years. These cakes have
illustrated hundreds features in bridal fashion and celebrity lifestyle magazines. Her
fashionable ‘inventively themed’ and ‘chic floral’ centerpieces have inspired confectionery trends.
After 20 years in business Rachel still remains hands on in her kitchen
Rachel has kept her business small to ensure an intimate and 100% unique cake design
service. She welcomes all design challenges from small to large scale, from chic modern
to ethereal vintage to witty personal themes. World class creative skills and a wealth of wedding industry experience allow Rachel precise understanding of each clients diverse requirements. All
cake centres are baked on site at Rachel's studio bakery, prepared from scratch with best
ingredients. Each commission is individually baked to ensure the cake tastes as good as it looks.
Civil ceremonies, new romantic design challenges from Gay and Lesbian couples
Rachel continually expands her portfolio with new designs and in 2006 was delighted to
include cakes for gay and lesbian civil ceremonies. Some of these designs were
showcased in her Sotheby’s Cake Sculpture Exhibition and later featured in Gay Times.

Bridal clients are invited to her East Sussex studio for design consultations where they can view her extensive portfolio and discuss their own individual requirements. Rachel can offer helpful guidance on creative ideas as well as the all important wedding reception practicalities.

Rachel researches each design brief to help inspire the most thoughtful and appropriate
design ideas before drafting them into a range of sketches. Clients receive a unique set of wedding cake sketches with quotations and selection of delicious cake centre samples. From first appointment through to delivery Rachel aims to make wedding cake shopping a special, individual, romantically inspiring and stress free experience.
